Here is the Back to the Future: Hill Valley modification for GTA Vice City. This modification is obviously based upon the Back to the Future films and includes the Delorean, an Unmodiffied Delorean and the Steam train, both the Delorean and the Steam Train can fly as well as go back in time. Unfortunately at the moment this appears to be only changing between different times of the day, although it does include very similar effects to those seen in the films when either reach 88 Mph.

Other bonuses include unexpected effects if your car / train is damaged while travelling through time or perhaps the nth dimension. There is even a Kitt car included as well which is armed with weapons, a scanner, autodrive as well as an Eject and other features.

Future modifications will be based on hill valley and would include the various times and locations of the films including 1885, 1955, 1985, Alternative 1985, and 2015. This would be something to look forward to as at the moment the dates don't have much effect on the gameplay.

This version is the easy install version of the Back to the Future modification and is the easiest to install for those who don't have the knowledge of GTA or those that just want an easy install. This version also includes many other cars (see the credits in the readme for full list) a lot of these are highly detailed and well made.

Readme File:
-----=====Grand Theft Auto: Hill Valley 0.2d=====-----

Installation of 0.2D
-Run the setup program
-Follow instructions, make sure to install into your gtavc directory

----All features and their key will also be displayed ingame.----

Time Travel:
-submission(capslock) + shoot(ctrl) turns on and off the time circuits
-shoot(ctrl) changes the value
-submission(capslock) moves the cursur to the next line
-drive/fly to 88 mph to time travel
-WARNING!!! Time travelling with a damaged time machine may produce unwanted effects. You can tell when it's damaged when you see smoke coming out.
-IMPORTANT: If you find yourself in the Nth Dimension (You'll know if you're there), Don't panic, and make your way safely to the nearest pay n spray

After Time Travel
-30 second lag before you can time travel again.
-BTTF1 delorean comes back dead
-hold turret left/right (num 4/5) to try to turn on the BTTF1 delorean

Flying (Time Machine only):
-hit turret left/right (num 4/5) to switch between driving/flying
-same controls as helicopter
-handbrake causes time machine to go forward

Flying (2015 non-Time machines):
-to enter hover mode, turret left/right(num 4/5) or lean back/foward (num 6/9), otherwise known as the ascend and descend keys
-Accelerate, Decelerate, Turn Left, and Turn Right do the same thing
-turret left/right(num 4/5) makes the car ascend
-lean back/foward (num 6/9) makes the car descend
-Hitting both accelerate and decelerate will turn off flying mode and put you back into driving mode

RC Mode
-action and sprint to activate
-camera button to change view
-don't kill yourself

Plutonium and Mr. Fusion
-You will be notified when you are out of plutonium/trash
-Go to the back of the car to refillwhere you can get more plutonium
-Trash is found everywhere, so it's unlimited
-Plutonium is found at the garbage place. Beware of Lybians trying to kill you for stealing their plutonium

KITT (controls)
-Autodrive: Action and Shoot
-Scanner: lean up/down and shoot to turn on
-Eject: lean up/down and handbrake to eject
-Weapons: Submission to change weapons
-Shoot to fire
-Turbo Boost: Horn to jump (taxi boost)
-Pursuit Mode: Hold down lean up/down to activate Pursuit Mode (only active when key is held down)
-Super Pursuit Mode: press turret left/right to activate super pursuit mode
-To use it, hold lean up/down
-To slow down fast, hold down decelerate and handbrake

-Press the turret left/right button to latch on to a vehicle (Doesn't work on long vehicles)
-Press lean up/down to break away

SA has really bad graphics and sound limitations that prevents it from achieving this kind of quality, since it uses so much more than vc that there is so little graphical ability left to do the effects correctly

I have a question, I think its probably just a minor bug, but oh well.

If you use RC mode with one of the DeLoreans, and it travels through time, right?

Well, if you try to get another deLorean and try to time travel, the speed meter isnt displayed and neither is the LED display. T_T

Then i got into a 2004 DeLorean, same thing happpened, but i was able to time travel. Then i rematerialzied and it was back to normal.

Its kind of minor, but is there a way to fix this?

how I can travell in time? I was on the 88 mph and higher It's easy to do it on the airport but I don't saw any effect ...any suggestions?frown

not enough changes I want to another textures after 2010 and the more future cars ,... before the 1910 I want that classic vehicles with the wooden wheels , you know what I mean... and more like that , can you do that ,please and don't forget about the crossbow etc. before 1910 and future weapons after 2010

Well, considering it's a very small team with 2 car modelers, 1 mapper, and 1 coder doing the brunt of the work....it'll take a while to do all those changes.

Uh When i installed the bttf:hill valley mod,the cars arent time machines and K.I.T.T is the tiger taxi???very odd,i dont know what whent wrong i started the exe. file to install and well that happened....
please help me to make them time machines....

I'm back , I was playing san andreas...and now I've back to vice city , you know what you can do? last time I travell in time in damaged DeLorean and I chose 9000 year, of course I saw before it smoke out from the car and when I hit to the 9000 I saw different colors in the map...it looks like..armageddon , you can do vice city destroyed by nuclear after 3000 or 4000 ;>

Err guys, when i use the emergency brake to handle and brake quicker, i always will be trown out of K.I.T.T.. i don't really think that that's the meaning of it?

i thought i was threw with vice city, as i have modded it all out. Untill i saw this back to the future mod. Im having fun with this old game all over agin. thanks for who ever mad it. you rock! Question will there be any missions in the future, and i mean before 2015?

I love this mod. It freakin' rocks I always loved the back to the future films as a kid and this mod for me is like a dream come true. cant wait for version 0.2E to come out

I had installed the mod for GTA Vice City, but when I go to the garage for modifing the delorean I have some problem, the car isn't modified!

What I must do when the car is in the garage? or, there are some action that I must do befor the mod of the delorean?
