i don't like the "real world" mods.the vehicles are very good-looking and i think they cannot fit in the world of gta (the rest of the graphics remain the same old-stylish).
anyway,it's a matter of taste...great mod |

Posts: 1 | well when i click on gta-ln.exe it asks for the cd ....the cd is in i hit buttons ,the mouse, nothing starts it clicking on the regular exe gets me farther but still blacks out with an exception error when i click start game ...any ideas please |

Posts: | You can always just forfeit the Hellfish radio stations and run the game from the original gta-vc.exe. The only thing the gta-ln.exe adds are those, and it is responisble for the insert disc error that shows up. |

Posts: 1 | I need some freaking help! When I reach the Vrock station one shot from the guys shotgun kills me and I have start over again. I can't seem to get past this part, and also the Ln thing always said there was no Cd so I clicked on ti from the normal GTA: VC thing and it worked, but I just can't get past the part because I keep dying... you think you can tell me what needs to be fixed or if this is just apart of the game, cuase my life bar still says 100 even after I die, it does not make any sense and I would like this probelm to be corrected. |

Posts: 15 | Been a while sice ive played, but i think i ran it from regular exe and started fine. To #32, yes it is part of the game. BE quick and blast him b4 he kills you. There is a fix on the official site for the bug that crashes the game when u select "yes" on the swat guy.
However i gave up after i reached errors o nevery mission later in the game. I hope theres am update or something. |

Posts: 152 | i did what he said in the read-me and ain't working. first i installed a clean vice city,then i patched it to version 1.1. installed the normal long nigh mod and then the updated version,i run GTA-LN and then it ask me for a cd?? but my cd is in my computer!! i tried a .exe but aint working! next time,get a better instal guide and there is nothing wrong with my pc and cd!! |

Posts: 72 | ok I GOT MY MOD TO WORK SO ILL TELL YOU HOW TOO. first off to get gmi you could download the vice city xxl mod it's 2nd page on the vice city modifacations page should be last 1, extarct it, then delete (or keep but this mod is cooler trust me) all files other then GMI.
then follow the readme if u cant find it then look in the long night folder it should be in there next to another long night folder (the readme for the patch isnt in a folder). +REMEMBER THAT FOR THIS TO WORK IN THE PART THAT INVOLVES STEP 2 YOU NEED TO REPLACE OLD FILES+
then follow readme for the patch after that you are ready to play *NOTE: TO PLAY DO NOT USE GTA:LN.EXE INSTEAD USE A SHORTCUT ON THE DESKTOP OR ELSE YOU WILL GET A NO DISK MESSAGE (for some reason)
have fun this is really a good mod 1000000 zombies out of 10 ^btw if u need more help just ask^ |

My only problem with the mod is that there are not as many cars around as you would think there should be, But other wise not anything wrong with this mod that I could tell, granted Ive played only two of the missions. |
