Description:
Here is a modification that will change the predator boat in to a detailed and well made military PBR Mk2 boat within GTA Vice City. Please note that it is highly recommended that you back up any files, just in case either you mess up your game or you do not like this modification.

1. Introduction
---------------

Thank you for downloading my PBR Mk2 model. (9262 Polygons - about 80 hours of work)
Some info about the real PBR Mark 2:
This is a model of boat that was mainly used on the rivers of Vietnam during the Vietnam war. The boat can be seen in just about every self-respecting Vietnam movie / documentary that involves rivers in any way.
The boat was very modular: it could easily be fitted with all kinds of weapons and armour.
It had a waterjet propulsion system, powered by twin 220BHP GM diesel engines. Top speed was 25 knots.
Standard armament was a double .50cal ('Forward 50s') machinegun in the front, and a single .50cal ('Aft 50') in the aft. Because of it's modularity, all kinds of other weapons were fitted, ranging from rocket launchers and miniguns to anti-missile flares. My model has an extra M60 machine gun and a flare-dispenser.
The weapons on this boat cannot be used ingame. The predator has firing guns, but unfortunately it's impossible to change the origin place of the bullets. So the forward guns will not fire, but you will stil have a twin-gun feature on the boat. The bullets will originate somewhere from the sides of the boat.


2. Installation
---------------
Install predator.txd and predator.dff into gta3.img using Spooky's IMGtool.
If you want Tommy to be at the wheel (the 'real driver's place) install the .dff file from dir 'Player_At_Wheel'. If you want Tommy to drive the boat siting at the gunner's position, install the .dff file from dir 'Player_At_Guns'.

* In handling.cfg
If you install the .dff where Tommy stands at the wheel of the boat, you need to replace the predator line in handling.cfg by this one:

If you install the .dff where Tommy sits at the forward gunner's position, you need to replace the predator line in handling.cfg by this one:

* In carcols.dat:
Add these lines:
106,129,96 # XX PBRgreen green
130,38,28 # YY PBRred red

(Where XX,YY are the next color-numbers in the list)

And change the color for predator with this one:
predator, XX,YY

*example: if the last color in your list is:
*65,69,76 # 94 dark5 dark
*->add these below:
*106,129,96 # 95 PBRgreen green
*130,38,28 # 96 PBRred red
*The line for predator would become
*predator, 95,96

* In vehicles.col
Use a colfile editor to replace the original predator.col file by the predator.col file which is included in this zipfile. I used the colfile for the speeder, which is not really accurate, but is close enough until I have another one.
