FileFront Network Insider #156 - Network News
  Posted by: Danny on 08-08-2010 @ 16:44
This News Item has been viewed 86,028 times
Welcome to all, for the 156th version of the Filefront Network Insider, again there have been many files this week although for the most part maps, mini mods and a few models / skins from several of the gaming network sites including some great modifications from all areas, while there has been several files it has unfortunately been a slow week.

In the past week however there also hasn't been much in the way of news from the network sites, so I have included a few articles from the main Filefront Site including a couple of videos and a competition for the *American* Football game Madden 11 (please follow the links to the main site for that one, please don't post the comments on the Network Insider for this wink ) For more news from Filefront's Gaming Today please have a look at Gaming Today.

So as normal for the Network Insider we have listed all the major gaming happenings, the biggest modifications and files within the last week for you below. Remember; if you see something that you would like to be added to the Insider, or you have any suggestions that you think may improve the insider then simply drop us an E-Mail at The Insider, or email it to me at Danny[at]filefront[dot]com (please put "Insider" as the subject though smile ).

If you like the Network insider please feel free write a comment as I would love to hear any critism (constructive though please wink as this is the only way that I know how good or bad the insider is and it would help me to improve this further)

Available Staff Positions at Various Sites

There are still various positions available for staff at several of the Filefront Network sites, including Dawn of War Files, Flight Simulator Files, Half Life 2 Files, Team Fortress 2 Files, and a few of the other sites. You can apply to these sites simply visiting the link below. So if anyone is interested in joining some of these sites please have a look at the below or even post in the comments smile

Filefront Gaming Today News: Blizzard’s Arbitrary Content Policy Isn’t So Arbitrary, But Their Response Time Is

Remember the other day when we reported that Blizzard was acting kind of cray cray about enforcing content rules for StarCraft II custom maps? Recap: they deleted the popular Ultimate Tank Defence map and banned its creators, due to unspecified inappropriate content. They also gave no explanation whatsoever. And that went over well.

Outcry from the Custom Maps community over Blizzard’s inscrutable policy enforcement exploded, forcing them to respond. Unfortunately, those of you who thought that deletion for unspecified content violations, with no explanation or hope of appeal, sounded arbitrary, were right. Enter Blizzard community manager Lylirra :

“While players are encouraged to share the maps they create through Battle.net, published maps are subject to review to ensure that they promote a fun and safe environment for all players. You can learn more about the StarCraft II content policy here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/33752

Filefront Gaming Today News: Holy Shift, Someone Reverse Engineered Wipeout
Meet Malte Jehmlich, your new Teutonic overlord. Malte had a dream. A dream in which the craziest thing he could come up with was real. A dream that he would one day take a classic sci fi racing game and make a playable, live action version using remote control cars. So he did it.

EMBED-Racer Demo 0.1 Video - Watch more free videos

Malte built a live action recreation of Wipeout using cardboard and plastic, and an RC car with a digicam mounted on top. What did you do this year? No, seriously, look at this. The camera feeds to a TV, the RC is a steering wheel, and both are mounted into a fairly good approximation of a wooden, sit-down arcade cabinet.

Filefront Gaming Today News: Report Shows Annual PC Hardware Sales Doubling Console Sales

Anyone who thinks PC gaming is dying might be surprised by this news. The Horizons Hardware report, compiled by the PC Gaming Alliance, shows that the annual shipment volume for PC hardware in 2009 was over double all consoles combined.

The report uses revenues from PCs that shipped with a discrete GPU as their benchmark. These revenues totaled $54.6 billion in 2009, and were based on the sale of 61.5 million PCs that were purchased last year with “gaming in mind.”

Filefront Gaming Today News: Star Wars Mod: Galactic Warfare 0.8 Beta Out Right Now

Here’s something fun to kick off your Friday. Star Wars Mod: Galactic Warfare is a Call of Duty 4 full conversion that recreates a surprisingly large amount of the classic Star Wars universe in glorious FPS style (and based on the trailer, 3rd person too.) And good news for those of us still psychically scarred by Lucas’ regrettable return to Filmmaking, all locales are from the Original Trilogy, not the crummy prequels. Awesome.

Battlefield 1942: Siege: Medieval Warfare Update
It has been several months since you have last heard from us, and a media update is long overdue. Do not let our apparent inactivity fool you; Siege: Medieval Warfare total conversion modification for Battlefield: 1942 is far from dead. Our tiny but dedicated team is determined to have a release within the next year. Our main focus right now is to finish the buildings and props. Once those are done, we will be able to start serious work on mapping.

As mentioned earlier, Siege: MW's development team is very small, and we are in need of a few more team members. Skilled coders, animators, sound artists, and skinners/uv mappers are all welcome. If you are interested in helping out, please make a thread on our forum here.

Empire at War: Thrawn's Revenge: Leading to Release Part One - Content and Clarification
This is most likely the last full update we will do for the mod before release except for one with a full unit list, so be ready for a lot of text. This is hopefully going to give everyone a better idea of what's in the mod, what's not, and how everything works.

Before anything else, I want to restate the release date. It was in a previous update, but I keep getting asked what it is, so I'll say it again: August 26th, 2010 (it's a Thursday, as promised).

Era-Based "Tech Levels"

The most significant of the gameplay changes that Thrawn's Revenge offers is the new tech level system. It's been explained before, but apparently we were not clear enough since a number of people have expressed confusion over the change. Instead of the traditional tech level system in EaW, you now progress through the various eras between the Battle of Endor and the Yuuzhan Vong War. In the Empire at War system you have ships like Carracks and Lancers available at tech level one, and then as you work your way up through the tech levels you gain access to units like Star Destroyers, Executors, and Sovereigns.

Empire at War: Ultimate Empire at War: The UEaW Dev's Blog, Issue #9: 31st July AD 2010
Good Night, once again, to followers, fans, passers-by and any other assorted viewers of the 9th issue of the UEaW Dev's Blog! It's LTCC again, with some pretty pictures for you, and some idle banter.

For the last month or so, there have been delays, progress, headaches, but more progress. Personally, I've been occupied until very recently with family issues, trips to Germany and work, but am returning to full activity presently, and in the mean-time the staff have got on admirably on their own. I'm personally buzzing about the opportunity to start my Alpha-Testing and preliminary balancing very soon, and eventually sharing an early build of the mod with a few select beta-testers, who I hope will be suitably impressed with the vast scope (and download time wink) of UEaW.

Beta-1 will, all going well, be starting in a few weeks' time, and will consist of a small team of people who will provide feedback on the very core basics of V1; their copy will be the first Beta draft, so effectively their work will border on Alpha-Testing; hence the small team size and early testing. Their role will mainly be expanding the amount of people who can report in high detail and to impromptu and direct requests of investigation by staff. An extended limb of the team, because when we make and test simultaneously.

Medal of Honor: Base Assault preview
Introduction:

Play mohaa with loads of vehicles and make tactical routes to destroy enemy bases! Cover your teammates using cannons and machine guns or help them as a medic!

Description:

This server-side only mod is based on the notorious Base Assault gametype from the game 'Call of Duty: United Offensive'. As there, you can also use numbers of vehicles to map the fairly large but quite linear areas given by Sinle Player campaigns. Nevertheless this mod provides a little bit more. On some maps you can find driveable planes and more cannons too, for instance nebelwerfer, flak88, and anti-aircraft gun. Both teams have the same objectives: 'Destroy the enemy bases and detonate them!' (bases are symbolized by bigger-sized tanks) Each vehicles has his own physical attributes, which are similar to the real ones.

ARMA 2: No Color Effects
This is the ARMA2 V1.07 missions.pbo edited to disable ppeffects colorCorrections so the missions coloration is normal without filmgrain or color changes. The result is more clear and vibrant colors.

Disables ppeffects colorCorrections for All ARMA2 missions - ie. Bootcamp missions,SP Scenario missions, Red HArvest Campaign missions. The aim was to give something similar to what we see in the background when we end a mission. I strongly recommend using GDT HDR Mod as well. That mod gives a fixed HDR Aperture setting - so no more suddenly not being able to see when you turn in a certain direction (especially in forrests etc.). It also has the functionality of setting aperture for each hour of the day. It's available at the Armaholic site. There are also mods that reduce or eliminate sun glare.

Elite Force: Star Trek Elite Force 2: Episode 1
Well here I am, back reviewing files after a sunny break in Devon of all places, and straight away I'm taken into the 24th century and what promises to be the "fan's expansion pack" for Elite Force 2. Episode 1 from mapper Daedalus is set on Deep Space 7, Starfleet's new multi-race station, and Munro is here to clear the station of bugs. I mean bit of a demotion from where I'm sitting. Poor guy. But anyway, off he goes. That is pretty much the plot, and it is only barely mirrored in-game. I'm aware that this is supposed to be a beta version, but it feels like less than even an alpha. The mapping is woeful at best, clipping is lacking, most of the characters shoot you despite the fact you are supposedly doing them a favour, I've seen more of the void than I ever wanted to, and even the installation instructions of the ReadMe are plain wrong: you need to install it into base/maps, not just your base folder. This is no PK3 file, and worse off for it.

Whilst playtesting, I ran this map without the supposedly required RPG mod from oberlerchner123. So many problems, as listed above! Nevermind, I thought, the mod will make some sense of this. I ran this with the RPG mod. I'm not quite sure what the difference was. In other words, there isn't one. And that is a shame, because I genuinely believe that the developer in question is trying to make this work. I encourage him to continue, but there is a long way to go.

Empire at War: Old Republic at War Space Beta
This is the space only beta of the Old Republic at War mod from Geroenimo. By combining various Knights of the Old Republic era models and new graphical improvements from The_Farseer as well as other effects from the work of the authors of the FX Mod (Filo and Codeuser). Fans of the Old Republic era should definitely check this mod out.

Quote:
This is my mod based on the Old Republic era. I know that there are mods like this. Some are dead, some use very wrong models and others are just complete crap. In my opinion I wanted a good mod, with the right stuff in it. With no sh*t. With no lame content. With no dumb game experience. Overall, I thought I would be making that mod. It is a one mans project, made my me, Geroenimo. This is the Space Beta, with only space units. In GC all normal space units have been removed and replaced with my new units. AI will use them, Skirmish is the best played because that would be complete. And one more thing, the patch. I have a patch ready, I'll upload it as soon as I finished uploading this.

Company of Heroes: Official Company of Heroes Fan Kit

About the file
As comon with most developers creating online-compatible games, RelicEntertainment has released a FanKit for Company Of Heroes. It includes logos, concept arts and official screenshots for creating your own Company Of Heroes - Opposing Fronts fansite.

Staff Impression
Unfortunately, the release of this dating back to 2009 went fairly unnoticed by the majority of the community. While of course this kit can not take the task of creating the html/php files for you or finding a good server provider, it does nevertheless lay a good base for everybody interested in running his or her own place for the game. We would love to hear from everyone using this to initiate a links exchange with our page, so please feel free to contact us!

Elite Force: HaZardModding Co-Op Script Mod Client ONLY
Yes, it appears to be another version of the Co-Op mod from EF2's king Chrissstrahl! This is the ZIP of the version 5.0 Alpha CLIENT ONLY Co-Op Mod for EF2. You can not host a Co-op server with this, it is for the Client ONLY, which means you need to join a working Co-Op Mod server to play the Mod.

All I would say are that all these many hundreds of Co-Op mod releases are getting a tad confusing. Which one is for what? Who needs to install which? I hope a definitive, ultimate version can one day be released!

Grand Theft Auto Vice City: Fast Infernus
Here is an interesting modifcation that will make the Infernus car in GTA Vice City very fast, although there is a downside to this just like all fast cars, the faster you go the more of a chance that you will crash mainly because its obviously more difficult to turn. If you crash apparently the car will explode very easily. Although its probably easier to just take out the infernus line from the handing.cfg and paste into your own (that is if you have other mods)

Please note that there are no screenshots because this is a script file.

Grand Theft Auto IV: Spark IV Tool
Here is the "IMG Tool" of GTA IV as such, this will allow you to install the mods into the game. This is also a very powerful tool for GTA 4, with this you will be able to look at texture files, sound files and infact almost any part of GTA IV and have the ability to export almost anything including the models, textures and scripting withing the main game itself. This is probably one of the most powerful and best tools that you can have for GTA IV.

It should be noted that this program is a beta version, so it may have some bugs but it does work with the latest version of GTA IV (and all of the previous versions). As always it is highly recommended that you back up all of your files before you install any modifications. You will also need to use XLiveless or any similar tool to install and use any of the Modifications in GTA IV.

There is one catch though (a good one, although not everyone will agree), this will disable online multiplayer to Prevent any cheating online. This will also allow for modifications to work within GTA IV, as by default most mods won't work in GTA IV apparently.

Knights of the Old Republic II: Enhanced Lightning - Sith Edition
Don Kain returns yet again, with another mod for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. This time, he has taken a mod by TriggerGod, which replaced the Force Lightning effect and tweaked it so that the lightning now resembles that of several Sith, including the Emperor, Kyle Katarn and Galen Marek.

Since this is a tweak of another mod, I shall quote the original mod's review here:

Quote:
BIOShazard, aka TriggerGod returns with a mod for the sequel to the original Knights of the Old Republic game; The Sith Lords. Basically upon playing The Sith Lords, the modder thought that some of the textures used were too low-resolution so decided to fix this. While this mod is "simple", I think it is highly effective and a very considerable improvement on the standard force lightning texture; see from the screenshots. Personally speaking this is one of those small tweak mods I love and it shall earn a permanent place in my Override folder.

Team Fortress 2: Tower Defence Pack
The goal is to transform Team Fortress 2 into a TD game. After 2 months, the mod is 65% done with 55 waves (100 planned). To improve the mod we need to have more feedback than with our current testers. To achieve this, everybody can now play an ALPHA version of the gamemode.

Before that, watch the most recent video, some screenshots and read about the mod in our website. The mod is made for 2 to 4 players, there are several bonuses that will help to beat the waves. You can have a minigun tower, a rocket tower, a jarate tower, trigger a saw that will cut the enemies... and more !

How to play
You need (all of this is needed) :
- a vanilla server (HLDS or a server you own) 26 slots at least, 32 is the best, - metamod, - sourcemod, - SDK Hooks, - then, extract this file in your server/HLDS folder (map + files)

Company of Heroes: Hilltown

About the File
This is a simple little 1v1 map, intended for close quarters combat amongst the buildings of a small town. Infantry warfare features prominently, as tanks are little more than target practice in some areas. Defensive players will find numerous positions to fortify, but beware: the houses offer flanking opportunities for enemy infantry.

Staff Impressions
Not bad, for a first go. The idea is sound, and the execution itself isn't bad, but the graphics could certainly use some work. The repetitive textures take away from the map, and the lack of streets in the town decreases the realism significantly. A recommendation: instead of concrete for the town square and grass for the streets, how about cobblestones? They'd fit a lot better.

About the file
After we've been through a lot of trouble once more over the recent weeks, we finally get to welcome a new first-time mapper to the community. He's providing us with a map representing Dutch farmland for 1 vs 1 battles.

Staff Impression
Usually, when somebody releases his first map, it is kind of obvious to the eye. Not saying it is a bad thing as everyone has to start somewhere, you get the idea though. However, once you're done reading this - if you do at all - the screenshots will instantly tell you why this map provides an exception to the rule. The detail freaks are probably going to slap me into the face, but for a first-time piece I see quite a stunning result here which is by any means worth giving it a chance.

About the file
First-time submitter FakeManPro provides us with a desert combat map representing a fort area in Tunesia, reflecting one of the famous battles of "desert fox" Erwin Rommel. The background story of the map can be found at the end of this review.

Staff Impression
Unique setting, graphic details, rich gameplay and a background story - this map has pretty much everything I love about them. From the first to the final moment in game you will notice that a lot of effort and thought has been put into this, and you will appreciate the result as much as I did.

Summary
Highly recommended download for every Company Of Heroes fan!

Doom 3: Salvational Temple
Important: This map requires Z-Hunter mod. You can download it here:

Mission Briefing: Our scientists deciphered the ancient manuscript. It says that there is an artifact which can cure zombies. This is our last hope, humanity's last desperate attempt to recover from disastrous pandemia. Your mission: find this artifact in the ancient temple and activate it. Be aware: long range scans of that place show nasty deathtraps and hideous mutants. Going there is practically a suicide, but we don't have any other choice, so prepare yourself well.

Elite Force: RPG DY100a
The S.S. Ironman. One of Earth's first great sleeper ships. DY100a class. Fitted with the best of Humanity's technology and experimental near-warp engineering. The first attempt to go boldly where none had before. This map takes place on that primitive spaceship. Explore the cramped, submarine-like vessel, from the bowls of the dark engineering section, around the corridors, to the suspended animation stasis chambers, cargo hold and command bridge. Whats more, it is a complete ship in itself, as you can open an airlock and climb out onto the hull (wearing a handy spacesuit, of course) and conduct repairs or watch the rotating weapon cannon. There is even a little "Ironboy" shuttlecraft docked on the underside (and a seperate map of just that included!).

The mapping and custom high detail textures are first class, as are the sounds and the fact pretty much every panel does something, at the very least a sound. The size of the ship, whilst fairly small, feels epic. The planet you can orbit was also a nice touch. This is of course adapted from Gidon's original holomatch version, which was later converted into a fully functional RPG-X level by another developer, and was the setting for the popular Star Trek: First Steps serial roleplay of some years back. Now the original creator himself is back with his own take, and it shows a few improvements and additions from the previous RP version.

Empire at War: The Discovery Remastered
This is yet another upgrade to the various versions of "The Discovery map. This large land map features numerous environments and areas with distinctly different themes. Prop usage is maximised to give an interesting look. This includes the creation of a waterfall and a large Sith cavern. The layout of the map provides a variety of paths to travel on to reach different zones. The only drawbacks of this map are a lack of texture work and variation within each zone and the fact that some playable areas of the map are outside of the skydome. See the author's description below for a story behind this map.

Quote:
Story: After a year of fighting on the unknown planet they finally figured out the name of the planet, it was called Yashuvhu. A planet that lost galactic communications during the war with Axar Kun. The planet is still going threw war between the 3 faction fighting on the planet, the empire has found the sith temple but needs to be cautious and have to send a big force for they don't get attacked during the journey to the temple.
The Rebellion discovered this other small Jedi temple in the East passed the sith temple. It was a small temple that only Jedi were able 2 get in, so they just left the temple in peace and didn't bother with it. they also discovered this abandon military base near the Jedi temple but the area is dangerous as well, it has rancor, sand people, and even a sarlaac pit. But the only way to get to the military base you have to go through the the path of no return which also leads to the sith temple.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Coralac: Scrap Time!
redmrcrayon is back with this improved and updated version of his previously released first map, Coralac. This version features a few new units, a very different appearance, rain effects and water, and a lot more.

The general layout of the map does not appear to be very much changed. However, there are a few more CPs to conquest, and the terrain is a little nicer. The terrain texture is also much improved. Gone is the form-fitting metal of the last edition- this time, it actually looks like real junk-planet terrain. In addition, the sky is changed up a bit- there is now lightning and water, as well as gunships flying around. There is also a large spaceship-looking thing in the sky. The rain effects and water placement is also very nice. It gives the map a sense of atmosphere that the first edition was lacking. In the area of visual presentation, these changes are most certainly an improvement.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Dune Sea: Sunset
Jendo7's latest map, Dune Sea: Sunset returns today in its new version three point oh majesty, adding support for the Dark Times era and some additional bugfixes.

In case you're new to the party here, this is a conversion of the SWBF1 map Tatooine: Dune Sea. This is simply a conversion with some minor additions and a new sky. It's a good conversion, too, so it's worth downloading if you want to play it. This version (presumably the last one) fixes most of the bugs with the previous releases. It fixes the localization bug for Luke, changes the Rebel Sniper skin, and adds in the proper damage effects for the Sith Speeder. It also adds in Dark Times mode, which is a welcome addition indeed.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Geonosis: Spire
This is another of this user's contributions to the growing pool of single-converted SWBF1 maps. This map is Geonosis: Spire, which is, in my opinion, the weakest of the SWBF1 maps. The SWBF2 iteration of the map is much better - it's not as stupidly spread out and there's better team balance. It is nice to see the Geonosian Fighters here, which is the only thing I wish had been implemented in the SWBF2 version that was not.

In any case, I'm sure those of you without the Conversion Pack and nostalgic for the maps of the original Battlefront will enjoy this. Give it a try if that's you.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Palpatine's Office
In the tradition of modders much more accurately fleshing out Coruscant than it is in the stock game (but don't get me wrong, the Jedi Temple is a great stock map), RepSharpshooter delivers a nice small map based on Senator/Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine's office, as seen in Episodes II and III.

With some notable aid in the texture department from previous work done on similar maps for JKA, this map is a nice, concise look at a movie location. You'll be able to pick out pieces you recognize from having watched the movies, and whether or not it is completely accurate (I don't know, for my part) shouldn't really matter. The map comes together well for what it's trying to show, and the visual detail is consistent and present enough to sell its concept.

Team Fortress 2: PL Redship (Beta 17)
REDSHIP is under attack!

RED: Save your crew and your ship by defending the objectives. Get outside and prevent the BLU from invading the ship!

BLU: Take control of REDSHIP by destroying key objectives located on the ship. Make your way inside RedShip and get to the ship's core. Destroy it to take commands.

BLU has prepared an assault on RED's main sky base, "REDSHIP 450". Their objective is to neutralize it and all of its crew and seize it. BLU plan on getting inside the ship by neutralizing the cargo bay shield, then to progress inside towards the engine room, section by section. Key objectives are located in each section and destroying them will grant access to the next section until the engine room is reached. If BLU succeed in destroying the Core, they will take command of RedShip. Will RED let them do this?

Gameplay
This mod is a strategy game, focused on heroes and grand strategy and with less micromanagement required. Players only control their heroes. They can buy regular units and assign them to their heroes. The armies move and fight with the heroes automatically. There are a few army control options for players, like different combat stances and a focus fire command. Also, the special abilities of some units can be controlled, but they are designed not to require heavy micro.

Winning
Players do not build structures, they must capture the buildings that exist on the map. Buildings are captured by attacking them and they will belong to the attacker when they are destroyed They provide great benefits to the owner and are the key to winning the game. In the beginning, the buildings are neutral hostile and guarded by creeps which players must kill in order to expand.
Currently available buildings are: Farms (revive heroes, provide food for larger armies), Factories (recruit units), Castles (strong buildings that guard strategic points), Mercenary Camps (can spawn neutral hostiles in enemy territory), Observatory (reveal map for a brief duration).

Armada 2: Norway class
This folder contains the Norway class. With the Akira, Steamrunner and Saber classes, the First Contact ships are now complete.

Very few images of this class exist and these images are vague, so details about armament, windows etc. are left to the imagination.
I read somewhere, the Norway is about the same size as the Intrepid class. Therefor I made details, as phaserarrays and windows,
of the same size as with this class. The Norway is classified as a medium cruiser.

Bridge Commander: TOS era Beagle
In 2266 Utopia Planitia Shipyards proposed a new, economical small prototype vessel for multirole assignments. Originally the ship had unofficial nickname "Snoopy" after 21st century cartoon character, but after Starfleet gave the project a green light, designers settled naming the new vessel type as the Beagle class. The Beagle Class was earmarked for duties such as:

The Uss Beagle has incredible impulse speed and manoeuvrability, along with impressive Warp propulsive capabilities, as the first of the class this vessel is designed to incorporate the majority of the proposed capabilities, as such this vessel has a vast database of medical, scientific and engineering information.
much of the proposed cargo space is taken up by the Database but the Uss Beagle is still able to carry out its courier duties.

Bridge Commander: USS Redemption
During 2375 Starfleet was at the end of the devastating Dominion War. With much of Starfleets vessels damaged or destroyed, newer, faster and more powerful ships were need to replace the losses. One ship designed before the end of the war was the Deliverance Class.
Finally completed in 2376 the Deliverance never had a chance to prove herself in the war and was assigned as a perimeter ship to watch the borders of Federation space.

Lessons learned during the war efforts were incorporated into the Deliverance Class, one of which was a new impulse/warp nacelle system developed by Dr Leah Brahms and her team. This propulsion system was designed to reduce the required space while enhancing the power available for propulsion, useful for such ships as the small Defiant which was riddled with problems due to the lack of space and untested systems.

Empire at War: Assassin Corvette
Once again Warb provides the community with another well made model. The Assassin Corvette was created off of a fanon design but is intended to be a corvette for the Legacy Era Imperial Navy. However the design of this model allows a lot of freedom towards what era of mod it could potentially belong in. I look forward to seeing this model in action in some Legacy era and possibly other mods.

Quote:
The Assassin Corvette is a fanon model. It is meant to be a Legacy Era Imperial Corvette. It was made because there are no official corvettes in the Legacy Era imperial navy. The model is based on concept art by Colin Geller. The model comes complete with Landing animation, code and icon. Some additional coding is required to get it ingame

I decided to release this since I noticed that the Sith had no canonical bombers, AoSW had enough creative artists onboard that we made two of our own. This one is an actual Fighter instead of a Gunship in terms of size. Special thanks to Bodin, you're one of the cooler modders I've met.

Here is a converted BMX Bicycle that has been converted from GTA San Andreas, this will replace the faggio within GTA 4. This bike does have a couple of bugs unfortunately but still works fairly ok in the game itself. Although it does include a custom handling which won't be perfect but is very useable and playable in the game.

The modder known as e-varmint returns to us here at KotOR Files with a modification for the second Knights of the Old Republic game. This is an effective re-model and skin of one of the default weapons to give it a more unique appearance, there isn't too much to be said other than this is an improvement on the default variation and up to the modders usual standards. As this is an aesthetic modification a review of the screenshot would be most beneficial to establish if this is a modification you would want to see in your game, though it would seem to this review this is a considerable improvement on the in game models that are used.
